Workshop on Innovations in Cantonese Linguistics 2 (WICL 2)

The 2nd Workshop on Innovations in Cantonese Linguistics (WICL 2) will be held on 7 March 2014 at the University of Chicago.

WICL 2, organized by Professor Alan Yu, will be held in conjunction with the 2nd East Asian Psycholinguistics Colloquium (EAPC2) at University of Chicago. EAPC2, organized by Professor Ming Xiang, will take place on 8 March 2014. Attendees are encouraged to attend both events.

The first Workshop on Innovations in Cantonese Linguistics (WICL) was held two years earlier, on 16-17 March 2012, at Ohio State University.

WICL 3 will be held in 2016 at The Ohio State University. And WICL 4 is tentatively going to be held at Purdue University. Potential venues for WICL in future years could perhaps be University of Minnesota, Brigham Young University, and others?
